About the Blog

An anglo-centric Cricket blog debating the sport’s various ebbs and flows, it’s brilliant past and it’s controversial if captivating present. A late comer to the various trials and tribulations of English cricket-first proper memory: Andrew Strauss’s debut hundred at Lords and someone who has never quite forgiven Nasser Hussain for running him out in the second innings.

A stickler for the kind of statistical quirks that only cricket can manage, and an avowed believer in the primacy of Test cricket. You can also follow the blog on Twitter at @pitchedupblog. I promise it won’t be too painful.
